Hey Bubblies and welcome to a Bonus Mini Bubble of this lil old podcast and for joining me to celebrate this podcasts' PODIVERSARY! Three years ago today, I jumped belly first into the podcasting pool and have been doggy paddlin' my way along ever since. 

 

So to celebrate this poderrific day, I first finish answering the rest of the AMA questions from way back when, then I share what I've been streaming so far this spooOOooky season in My SCREAMING Bubble, including my takes on a couple of book adaptations: Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and My Best Friend's Exorcism.  What makes these two special is that I actually read the books before seeing the movies! Original vs Remakes: The Things with Dozer

Just in time for its 40th Anniversary, and a release in theaters, I welcome back Dozer to the Bubble so we can finally cover The Things! 1951s The Thing From Another World, John Carpenter’s 1982 classic, The Thing, and The Thing 2011.

 

After rewatching these movies Dozer asks, which movie is the actual remake to 1951 since both have elements from the original.
